1218 Langley Street – Chancery Chambers
The Chancery Chambers at 1218 Langley Street was built in 1905 by architect Francis Rattenbury for J.H. McGregor, who rented office space in the building to lawyers and law firms. Between 1889 and 1963 the B.C. Provincial Courts were located in the adjacent building at 28 Bastion Square so this was an ideal location for law firms to locate their offices.
