A Brief History of 900 Vancouver Street
900 Vancouver Street was built in 1939 by architect Percy Leonard James as the Yarrow Memorial Chapel. The construction cost was $3250.00. which was funded by the Yarrow family as a memorial to their deceased son.
In 1979 the rear porch was enclosed, at a cost of $40,000, to house the Anglican Diocese of British Columbia Archives.
