John Gerhard Tiarks (1867-1901)
John Gerhard Tiarks (1867-1901) was an up and coming architect in 1890’s Victoria. His career was cut short by his untimely death, aged 34, in 1901.

- 1512 Beach Drive, built in 1898-99 for Arthur Haynes and Matilda Haynes. Listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places and is a Designated Heritage Building by the District of Oak Bay.
