St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Cathedral
St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Cathedral was built between 1890 and 1892 to the design of Montreal architects Maurice Perrault and Albert Mesnard.
It is listed on the Canadian Register of Historic Places.

A Brief History of St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Cathedral
St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Cathedral was built between 1890 and 1892 to the design of Montreal architects Maurice Perrault and Albert Mesnard. The plans were based on a church in Vaudreuil, Quebec.
It was consecrated in 1892 by Bishop John Nicholas Lemmens.
In 1907 the Rectory and Bishop’s Residence was built at 740 View Street, on the west side of the Cathedral, by architects Thomas Hooper and C. Elwood Watkins.
