As part of our series on Historic Victoria Advertisements, Automobiles & Transportation, here is a 1939 advertisement for Buick, placed by Davis-Drake Motors Ltd., which was then located at 900 Fort Street, on the north east corner of Fort Street and Quadra Street.

The former Davis-Drake Motors building at 900 Quadra Street is no longer standing. A Google Street View image of the site appear below:
Between 1939 and 1944 Davis-Drake Motors appears to have moved from 900 Fort Street to the corner of Yates Street and Vancouver Street.
