537 Johnson Street – Wille’s Bakery
This City of Victoria Heritage Building at 537 Johnson Street was built in 1887 by architect Elmer H. Fisher for Louis Wille, who used it for his business, Wille’s Bakery. Wille’s Bakery operated here until 1976.
The building was formally recognized by the Canadian Register of Historic Places in 1995 and listed in 2006. It is currently used as commercial space on the main floor with apartments on the upper floor.
