The Waddington Building at 735 Broughton Street was built in 1979 and is currently occupied by the Greater Victoria Public Library – which moved here from 794 Yates Street in 1979 – and by B.C. provincial government offices.
The Greater Victoria Public Library entrance is located in an inner courtyard and atrium, accessible from Broughton Street and Blanshard Street. The courtyard features a sculpture called Dynamic Mobile Steel Sculpture by artist George Norris (1928-.2013)
