1910 Advertisement for Capital City Wine Store, 1327 Douglas Street
1327 Douglas Street is still standing. It is on the historic Craft & Norris Block on the south east corner of Douglas Street and Johnson Street.
1910 Advertisement For Copas & Young, Anti-Combine Grocers
Copas & Young, Anti-Combine Grocers was located in the Fell Building, at Broad Street and Fort Street.
1911 advertisement for King George IV Liqueur Whisky and its Victoria distributor, R.P. Rithet & Co.
R.P. Rithet & Co. was based in the Rithet Building on Wharf Street in downtown Victoria.
1912 Advertisement for Budweiser and its Victoria distributor, R.P. Rithet & Co., 1117-1125 Wharf Street
1912 Advertisement by Pither & Leiser, 1019 Wharf Street, for Whyte & Mackay Scotch
Pither & Leiser was one of B.C.’s largest wholesale liquor distributors. During the time Pither & Leiser was in business it operated from 533 Yates Street, 535 Yates Street and 1019 Wharf Street.
